THE VENUE
St. Rita’s is a retreat centre on its own very green grounds, and accommodation is in single, twin, and dorm-style rooms. All rooms are en-suite.
Catering: if you book with meals, catering will be provided. We can only cater for vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Do not ask us about any other dietary requirements except allergies and intolerances (see below).
Allergies/intolerances: If you have any allergies or intolerances, do let us know AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. For intolerances, the Centre will do their best to cater for these.
Parking: there is plenty of free parking at the venue.
Getting to Honiton
Car: St. Rita’s is easily accessible from the A303 (if travelling from the London area), M5, and A30. Without traffic, it takes about 3hrs to reach Honiton from central London by car.
Train: Honiton has its own train station, on one of the rail lines to London.
Walks and recreation around Honiton
Honiton is a small town around 10 miles from Exeter. It is located on the edge of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is about 20-25 minutes’ drive from the beaches at Sidmouth, Branscombe and Seaton. It is about 25-30 minutes’ drive, or 27 minutes’ train ride, from central Exeter.
Walks around Honiton: there are plenty of walking options, from the SW Coast Path, to RSPB Aylesbeare Common, to Dartmoor, which is reachable by car in about 35 minutes.
